Server-Side vs Software Filtering

Server-side filtering has higher efficiency rates than software filtering due to increased system speeds and dedicated resources. Software filtering relies on the customer's computer to process all filtering analysis. This extra load on the customer's computer restricts the speed and quality of the filtering process. Server-side filtering uses the same analytical process as software filtering but also incorporates sophisticated database filtering. This database filtering is much more extensive when used with server-side filtering because the software filter must create a limited version to run on the customer's computer that doesn't slow it down. Server-side filtering is constantly being updated throughout the day, and all updates are immediately applied to each customer's filtering. The increased server speed, resource availability and diversity of the filtering process allows server-side filtering to be much faster and more efficient.
